| Description: | I have a working prototype of a universal DC Injection Brake for AC Induction Motors and would like a professional design review that considers, in order of importance, (a) technical and procedural consideration of (and planning for) certification by UL or other similar body, and (b) the reliability and durability of the current electronic design. The project requires skills and experience with: - The UL (or other body's) certification process - Line voltage electronic design (relays, triacs, etc.) - AC induction motors and motor control (in the 0.25 - 2 HP range) All consultation would be performed hourly at a negotiated rate, beginning with an initial design review (a few hours) and expanding as needed from there. | |
