| Description: | Job Order # 2180 Length: 6 months + Location: Milpitas, CA Our client, who makes sophisticated equipment for the the inspection of wafers as they are being manufactured is looking for a Sr. S/W Engineer who has a background in writing multi-threaded machine control software. They are interested in a Software Engineer who is passionate about creating complex Object Oriented Software and helps to develop world class semiconductor wafer inspection and review tools. The software is large (2M+ LOC) and includes user interface, machine control, clustered image computer and complex image processing algothrims. You will be responsible for requirement analysis, design, implementing and testing system software solutions. You will be closely working with hardware and systems team, and solve some of the most advanced technical challenges facing the semiconductor industry. You will fit right in if you have a sound understanding of the fundamentals of Computer Science and practical experience building machine control and calibration software. You should be somebody who enjoys working on complex system software, is very customer-centric, understands the big picture and feels strongly not only about building good software but about making that software achieve its goals in reality. Preferred Qualifications: Doctorate (Academic) OR Master's Level Degree with at least 2 years of experience. OR Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 3 years of experience. In addition the following skills are needed: Must have: 1. Good experience with Object Oriented Analysis and Design, Design Patterns and managed code 2. Object Oriented Programming with C# 3. Experience with Multithreading and parallel processing. 4. Good experience with general Software Principles and Product Lifecycle 5. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred: 1. Experience with Machine Control Software 2. Machine Control Calibrations preferred. | |
