Hong Nguyen-Phuong co-founded Net-Tags: to help clients build products and services leveraging technology; and to help conference organizers maximize value for participants and exhibitors. Aiming at quick, iterative, demonstrable delivery of value to its clients, Net-Tags uses lean agile practices to leverage the power and efficiency of technology, and the experience of vetted teams.

Hong is also a member of Silicon Valley Alliances, which endeavors to transform managers into global leaders, and facilitate groups in becoming truly global teams.

Hong was born in Vietnam, grew up in Brazil and France, before coming to the U.S. where he studied at MIT, Boston University, and Harvard Business School. A veteran of Silicon Valley, Hong has worked at startups, Sun Microsystems, Symantec, and PG&E, in software domains ranging from internet infrastructure, animation, security, utility infrastructure, GIS, and blockchain exchange. A lean agile coach, Hong has shared his experience widely at Silicon Valley Polytechnic Institute, Coding Dojo, Bay Area Scaled Agile Network, PMI Silicon Valley, Silicon Valley Agile Trends and Leadership, Silicon Valley Engineering Leadership Community, UCSC Silicon Valley Extension, Lean Agile Insights, and CIO Vietnam. He is a mentor at The Mentorship Club.
