PATCA April Dinner Meeting-Healthcare Insurance Strategies for Consultants and Small Businesses

April 8, 2010 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM

PATCA April Dinner Meeting-Healthcare Insurance Strategies for Consultants and Small Businesses

Interested in reducing your healthcare premiums by 15% to 50%? PATCA’s April dinner meeting will feature Jason T. Andrew of Stone Meadow Benefits & Insurance Associates, who will discuss innovative strategies that consultants can use to control escalating costs.

Join us for an in-depth discussion about:

  • The best health insurance options for independent consultants and small businesses.
  • Tips to qualify for individual health insurance coverage, and options for the uninsurable.
  • When and how sole proprietors may qualify for group insurance coverage.
  • Explanation of programs like COBRA, Cal-COBRA, and HIPAA.
  • Guidance to help you structure your company to qualify for "guaranteed issue" health insurance coverage.
  • New options to control costs by using a Health Savings Account (HSA), a Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA), or a wellness program.
  • How Health Care Reform may impact consultants’ coverage in 2010 and 2011.

Andrew believes that the market for healthcare is rapidly becoming consumer-driven, and he is a long-time advocate of properly selected insurance and benefit programs that reduce costs. By becoming proactive consumers, consultants can save 15-50% on health insurance premiums and out-of-pocket medical expenses.

Don’t miss this opportunity to learn the same cost-saving techniques used by MGM, 7-Eleven, Intel, Amazon.com, Whole Foods, and other large companies.
